There is a growing number of specialist medical applications for nonwoven fabrics because of the superior performance they can deliver in specialized tasks. Subhash Anand is a professor of technical textiles at Bolton Institute, UK. He has research interests in various aspects of technical textiles and has organised three conferences on the use of technical healthcare and medical textiles He will present an overview of his work in this field.
