The Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce is supporting strategic investment in science education to provide a skills base for further economic development in the Greater Manchester region.
It means that employers in the region that are planning to recruit or develop employees through the Higher Apprenticeship for Life Sciences and Chemical Science Professionals with Manchester Metropolitan University can now access funding support for between 40 and 100 per cent of the total training costs.
The Technical Apprenticeship Service is driving the campaign in-line with the Chamber's strategy to match education and training output to local employer needs.
Delegates will be provided with free parking at MoSI, accessed via Water Street. Delegates can also tour MoSI free of charge following the event.
