The EU pharmacovigilance system is now one of the most advanced and comprehensive systems in the world and represents a robust and transparent instrument to ensure a high level of public health protection throughout the Union.
Legislation was implemented by the European Commission in 2004 to better protect public health by strengthening and rationalising European Pharmacovigilance. This event will look at the protection of public health, risk management, good Pharmacovigilance practice, the European qualified person, paediatric and other current issues related to Pharmacovigilance. We will also look to highlight what you need to do to understand Pharmacovigilance from the perspective of an inspector.
The meeting will therefore give attendees an increased understanding of the requirements of the EU directives and practical advice on how to put the knowledge gained into practice in their work.
