Professor Peter Matthews CBE, a chartered chemist, has had an illustrious career in the chemical and water industries. He became the Chief Executive Officer of Anglican Water before being appointed as a Non-Executive Director for a number of organisations including the Port of London Authority as well as the Pension Fund where he was Chair. He was the founding Chair of Natural Resources Wales where he was a prominent advocate on water conservation and regulation in the UK.
