The event is organised by Aston University, Institute of Physics and 91AV.
This year, our GWB25 theme is “Accelerating Equity in Science” and we will be participating in the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology celebration. 

BREAKFAST & PRE-NETWORKING: 09:00am-10:00am
Participants can have breakfast while viewing and commenting on several IUPAC/RSC/IOP posters-flyers

INTRODUCTION: 10:00am-10:20am
Introduction about the IUPAC Global Women’s Breakfast (GWB) and International Younger Chemists Network (IYCN) from Dr. Tien Thuy Quach - Chair of IUPAC-IYCN 2024-2025.

PANEL SHARING: 10:20am-11:20am
Several topics under the theme "ACCELERATING EQUITY IN SCIENCE" are shared from the Panellists to encourage participants for applying current and new pathways throughout their education and research journey.The full list of the Panel will be updated at the beginning of January (as a few established academics are currently on annual leave)

BREAK: 11:20am-11:30am

PAIR/GROUP DISCUSSION: 11:30am-12:30pm
Participants discuss in pairs or groups about the recent barriers and prospects for accelerating equity in science, particularly promoting good practice of education and research at local, national, and international scale. Specific format will be ultilised during the pair/group discussion and delivery.

CLOSING & POST-NETWORKING: 12:30pm-13:00pm
