Conference concept
The conference is designed to be a friendly environment for recent appointees in materials science to share ideas and learn from each other. We are delighted to have two mentor academics to support this during the conference. We will aim to run an inclusive, diverse, and friendly conference and request all that attend to come with an open mind and willingness to foster a kind, scholastic, and friendly environment.Programme
RAMS 2023 will be hosted at University of Lincoln and will offer a dynamic forum of discussion for early career researchers, postdocs and PhD students working on any area related to Materials Science. The conference will cover a wide range of topics in Materials Science such as:- Materials for energy conversion and storage
- Materials for catalysis, light-driven processes, and environmental applications
- Materials for gas storage
- Materials for healthcare and medical applications
- Computational and modelling to aid material innovation
- Advanced in-situ and operando techniques

Abstracts should not exceed one page (including figures, tables and references) using the template. Completed abstracts should be emailed to RAMS2023@lincoln.ac.uk. The template can be dowloaded from the RAMS website.
Notification of abstract acceptance
Abstracts will be reviewed by the Organising Committee and the acceptance email will be sent to the presenting authors. All presenting authors of are expected to register by 31st August.Registration

Venue
RAMS 2023 will be hosted at ‘The Bridge’ and ‘Joseph Banks Laboratories’ (JBL) Buildings of the University of Lincoln in Brayford Campus. The venue is conveniently located within walking distance from Lincoln city centre, train station and iconic Lincoln cathedral area.
