Introduction
Sometimes, because the drug in your tablet needs help to get into your body, it may need help to get into solution. Substances known as excipients can be used in achieving this. These excipients may have different roles depending on the nature of the drug, the dose and the targeted patient. The excipients used can also mean the process used in making the powder for the tablet is treated in different ways which can affect the quality of the final tablet produced.

Join us as we discuss the care and consideration taken by scientists as they decide what goes in your tablet.
