Manna Wang, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan
Manna Wang received her B.Sc. (Environmental Science) from Renmin University of China (2016) and M.Eng. (Civil Engineering) from Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo Tech) (2018). Currently, she is a PhD candidate from the Water Environment Lab led by Associate Professor Chihiro Yoshimura at Tokyo Tech, and a recipient of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Research Fellowship for Young Scientists.
Her research interests are broadly in water quality management and water treatment adopting experimental and modelling approaches. She is particularly interested in microbial analysis, microbial pollution, and disinfection treatment. In her current research project, she focuses on the assessment and modelling of the bacterial regrowth in environmental water after wastewater disinfection.
