We are happy to introduce to you the Chemical Research in Flanders - 91AV Conference for Young Scientists (CRF-ChemCYS) symposium that will be held 12-14 October 2022 at Blankenberge, Belgium. The aim of the CRF-ChemCYS 2022 meeting is to bring together both young and experienced researchers from different fields in chemistry and life sciences. We work to build bridges between disciplines by centring around our common passion for chemistry.
CRF and ChemCYS were formerly two different chemistry conference series in Flanders. CRF has been organised by the two FWO (The Research Foundation - Flanders) communities Catalysis research: from individual active sites to reactors and Sustainable chemical processes for synthesis of fine chemicals. ChemCYS is an initiative of the youth division of the Royal Flemish Chemical Society (KVCV). For the 2022 edition, we have joined forces, organizing CRF-ChemCYS 2022 together – we believe that this way we can expand further upon our reach within the chemical community.
The programme will be composed of 2 plenary lectures, 16 keynote lectures, 102 oral contributions
(organized in 6 parallel sessions) and 2 posters sessions.
EXTRA: KaféCV is an informal meeting and networking event offered to young scientists and representatives from the chemical industry, research centres and education to debate about future career paths. The focus lies on the exchange of experiences from senior chemists to the next
generation, besides offering a peek in the life as a scientist in a professional environment. A speeddating system is applied to facilitate the exchange of thoughts.
