This webinar will cover the basic concepts surrounding intellectual property (IP), including why IP is important, the basic tools at your disposal, and how to use these in real world, day-to-day situations. We will cover the protection of ideas using patents, registered and unregistered designs, trade marks, copyright and know-how; where appropriate covering the procedures for registering these rights. More importantly, we will emphasise the commercial utility of the IP tool box, and how it can be used as a commercial tool.
