Introduction

Research Meetings organised by the Molten Salt Discussion Group are informative, interesting, informal and inspiring events. The Group organizes two meeting per year, one in the summer and one just before Christmas. These meetings give an opportunity to both established researchers, and up-and-coming researchers, to disseminate and discuss their findings in a friendly and constructive environment. This year's Summer meeting is very special because we will celebrate the 80th birthdays of both Professor Doug Inman and Dr David Kerridge.
