Visit to Kew Millenium Seed Bank and Wakehurst Gardens

6 May 2011, Ardingly, United Kingdom

Introduction
The Kew Millenium Seed Bank is housed in the Wellcome Millenium Trust Building set in the beautiful gardens of Wakehurst Place. It is the largest ex situ plant conservation project in the world. This visit will include lunch in the Stables Restaurant at 12.00 followed at 1.30 pm by a visit to the Millenium Seed Bank exhibition with a private "behind-the scenes” tour and presentation. There will be time to explore the gardens before and after this, and, if there is sufficient interest, we will arrange a guided tour of the gardens starting at 10.30 am.
The cost is £15, including entrance to the gardens and Millenium Seed Bank and lunch.
