The seventeenth edition of Italian-Hungarian Symposium on Spectrochemistry will be held exclusively online, 14 – 18 June, 2021.
Initially a part of the bilateral governmental programme for scientific and technical co-operation between Italy and Hungary, this series of biennial events is a well-established tradition which provides scientists from both countries with a permanent forum to discuss the outcome of their studies, primarily in the field of human health and environmental protection.
The XVII Italian-Hungarian Symposium on Spectrochemistry will deal with the most recent advances in strategies for health and environmental protection. Attention will be focused on the role played to this end by innovative analytical techniques, as in many instances analytical chemistry is closely related to the studies and needs of research in environmental, pharmaceutical and medical field. In particular, the following themes will be addressed: monitoring and reduction of contaminants in environmental compartments, workplace and food current developments in medical devices; new challenges in pharmacology; use, abuse and misuse of pharmaceuticals; regulatory aspects.
The backbone of the Symposium will consist of approximately thirty oral presentations. Poster presentations, in turn, will be displayed for the entire duration of the event.
Oral presentation will be given by prominent scientists from Hungary and Italy as well as from other countries, so as to stimulate the mutual exchange of views and gain information on possible approaches adopted to promote research and innovation and establish new analytical approaches in the field of health and environmental protection.
