The Manchester Institute of Biotechnology, University of Manchester, will be hosting a virtual symposium entitled "Technologies in Bioarchaeology and Palaeobiology"
This event is the inaugural symposium in a series hosted by the Manchester Institute of Biotechnology. Each symposium will consist of short talks on the symposium theme by internal and external speakers, hosted by a member of the institute.
This symposium focuses on the application of advanced molecular analytical methods for the study of ancient life, as well as how these techniques could be applied to address challenges in current biotechnology.
The talks will be followed by a "round table" discussion by Dr. Mike Buckley, and open questions from the audience. They symposium will be approximately two hours.
