The RSC and CRSI are supporting a series of joint symposia for 14 years in a row as part of the cooperation agreement, which has been renewed every five years. Earlier this year, the 14th edition of RSC-CRSI was successfully held in February 2020 in Vellore, India.
The purpose of these high-profile events is to bring together researchers from both countries and to facilitate research collaborations in areas from across the chemical sciences.
Every alternate year, India-UK symposium is held at different universities in the UK since 2012 and so far, four such symposia have been held. Last meeting was held in Manchester and Oxford Universities. The next UK meeting will be held in September 2020 for which University of York and University of Durham have agreed to host the event.
