3.00-3.40 pm Structured Networking Session 1 - Collaborating for business growth
3.40-4.20 pm Structured Networking Session 2 – Consulting after retirement
4.20-4.30 pm Wrap-up and close
The afternoon will begin with a short introduction from our Chairman, Bill Edwards and then we will have a hot Christmas Buffet Lunch and Drinks. We will then have two “structured networking sessions” with small group discussions on a particular theme, with time to feedback to the room.
The first networking theme will be on “Collaborating for business growth” – quite often new business comes through word of mouth – how to mobilise the resources of the Consultancy Group’s 700+ members who have a considerable range and depth of talent and wide contacts networks, to leverage new business opportunities. How can we grow our business by working together with an “on-demand” system for forming small teams? support each other to grow our business
The second theme is focussed on “Consulting after retirement”. Quite often people go into consultancy after they have decided that formal PAYE employment is no longer for them. It is a key part of CG’s activities to support consultants who fall into this category, and we want to ensure that we are keeping up with your needs. Therefore, this session will look at what can the CG do to best support these members, in terms, not just of their business, but also in terms of their wellbeing.
The event is subsidized and is being offered to CG members and their guests for a modest sum of £20. Please ensure that you sign up before the final registration date so that we can plan the catering.
