Introduction

Overview

With the increase in mathematic content in the 91AV curriculum, it is vital to ensure that all students have a good grasp of the main numerical concepts.  This free to attend workshop questions how we introduce numerical concepts, challenges thinking and explores resources and techniques to embed scientific numeracy in the 91AV classroom focussing on: 

• Balancing equations
• Mole calculations
• Energetics

to ultimately improve achievement through better access to the curriculum.
