This course provides a complete training solution in the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of the Scion/Bruker/Varian GC-MS with MSWorkstation software.
The course will teach the theory and principles of mass spectrometry focusing on the ion trap GC-MS.
You will learn about the function and operation of individual components of the instrumentation and gain experience in adjusting the parameters. You will gain practical experience of performing maintenance of each MS component including vacuum system, ion source, ion trap mass filter and detector. You will learn the strategies and gain practical experience of instrument troubleshooting.
The course introduces the MSWorkstation software for both instrument acquisition and data analysis.
