The symposium will be held in the Inorganic 91AV Laboratory at the University of Oxford. It will showcase the full breadth of inorganic chemistry with contributions encouraged from all areas, such as:
Transition metal complexes
f-element chemistry
Main group compounds
Solid state and nano-materials
Organometallics
Bioinorganic chemistry
Catalysis
Coordination and supramolecular chemistry
Theoretical studies of inorganic compounds
The event is open to anyone in the UK (not just the South), or abroad.
The programme will feature one plenary and three keynote lectures. There will be talks and posters available for postdocs and PhD students, and posters for Master’s students. Lunch will be provided.
Registration fees have been heavily subsided to widen participation:
Early-bird £15 (RSC members), £20 (Non-RSC members)
Standard £20 (RSC members), £25 (Non-RSC members)
Call for Abstracts
We are keen to invite oral and poster contributions from early career researchers, and seven 20-minute lecture slots (including questions) will be available for postgraduate students, post-docs and research fellows. We will also have a poster session, and prizes will be awarded for the best student/post-doc talk and the best posters.
Please email abstracts to be considered for oral and poster presentations (see guidelines below) to linda.webb@chem.ox.ac.uk
Deadlines: Oral abstracts 21/08/2019
Poster abstracts 28/08/2019
