Conference seminars will be offered by presenters from a range of different application areas and will include topics such as: The Application of Thermal Methods to Pyrotechnic Systems (Prof. Ted Charsley), Kinetic Studies byTime-Resolved Dilatometry (Amada Hynes), Thermal Analysis of Nanocomposites (Debbie Todd), Monitoring Energetic Formulations (Alan MacDonald), Calibration & Technique Development (Bill Broughton) and Thermal Analysis in Materials Qualification (Anna Walmsley). The conference will include a poster competition and an exhibition from the leading thermal equipment manufacturing companies.
A prize of up to £1000 will be presented to the winner of the Cyril Keatch Award for original work in the field of thermal analysis. The prize is a contribution towards candidate travel to a multinational thermal analysis conference (entry stipulations apply and prize value dependent on host country of conference).
