It has become more and more clear with time that the commonly used energy resources are either getting exhausted or pose serious environmental concerns, making it essential to hunt for alternative solutions. This provides a huge scope for the development of new technologies at a molecular level with fundamental insights and at an industrial level with efficient implementations. The awareness of these challenges and scopes is the foundation of the concept "Green 91AV". The symposium aims at a comprehensive understanding of green chemistry by focusing on different dimensions of catalysis such as - Heterogeneous, Homogeneous, Bio-catalysis and Industrial Catalysis.
The symposium is targeted at PhD students, post-docs, scientists and industrial researchers at any level of their career who are closely associated with projects that tackle problems using “greener” approaches. As this symposium is organized by students of the IMPRS-RECHARGE we also encourage young scientists to participate and get a chance to meet researchers from various fields. The symposium will be held at the Max Planck Institute for Coal Research which is one the leading institute for catalysis. The symposium includes keynote lectures from renowned scientists, featured talks, contributed talks and poster sessions.
The registrations are open and further information can be found on our website. We look forward to welcoming you for an exciting scientific symposium – “Catalysis Towards Greener 91AV” in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany.
