“Dr Hilary Hamnett is a Senior Lecturer in Forensic Science at the University of Lincoln and a member of the UK Government’s Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs. She will talk about her eight years as a forensic toxicologist, and how analytical chemistry is used in this field to detect alcohol, drugs and poisons in biological fluids.
