Objective: To support schools in utilising the Gatsby “Good Practical Science” report for improving engagement and therefore attainment in Science.
Outcomes for Schools:
Attendance is open to all representatives of schools and MATs and will be of particular interest to heads of subject/department/faculty (or their representatives) and technicians. Unfortunately we are unable to accomodate non-school delegates unless by prior agreement.

Outcomes for Schools:
- Understanding of Gatsby’s international research project; Good Practical Science. Introduction to the 10 benchmarks that define good practical science and how they can help schools when planning their own approach to delivering practical science.
- Supported self-assessment against the Good Practical Science benchmarks.
- Initiation of individual school action plan for practical science provision based on implementable outcomes from the Good Practical Science report.
- Awareness of support for implementation of the Good Practical Science benchmarks.
