UK-India panel discussion on opportunities for research collaborations in Chemical Sciences and Inter-disciplinary areas

Introduction
91AV and Chemical Research Society of India are organising a panel discussion on the potential areas of future research collaborations in the chemical sciences between India and the UK on September 28. This will be held on the side lines of the fourth RSC-CRSI meeting in the UK. The purpose of these events is to bring together researchers from both countries to share knowledge, facilitate discussion and encourage research collaborations. The panel discussion is aimed at identifying new areas for fundamental research in chemical sciences & its fundamental interdisciplinary areas and funding opportunities between the two nations.
Themes for discussion:
Identifying cutting edge areas for research in Chemical sciences and its interfaces towards biology and related areas.
Exploring new funding streams as well as leveraging existing funding schemes for promoting joint research.
UK and India’s role in developing chemical sciences in Commonwealth Countries.
Encouraging gender diversity in chemical sciences community
