Organised jointly by Chemical Science and local institutes, these events consist of two symposia to be held in two different cities ? Harbin (https://rsc.li/nsfc-rsc-sc2018hrb) and Xiamen (this webpage).
These international symposia will bring Associate Editors of Chemical Science, renowned scientists from institutions in China, together with emerging investigators in the field of sustainable energy research. The scientific program will also be complemented by flash talks to provide further networking opportunities and discussion for all attendees.
The Chemical Science Symposium in Xiamen will be immediately followed by the 4th International Symposium on Energy 91AV & Materials (http://isecm.xmu.edu.cn/index.html), organized by the Collaborative Innovation Center of 91AV for Energy Materials (iChEM). We will be looking forward to meeting you in Xiamen.
The primary focus will be on recent advances in sustainable and renewable energy including solar energy conversion, artificial photosynthesis, photocatalysts, water splitting, gas capture, separation and storage and fuel cells. The symposia will also cover interdisciplinary studies at the energy interface with other subjects such as the properties and applications of materials for energy and sustainability, nanotechnology, photocatalysis, photonics and biotechnology.
