Introduction

From air quality to disease transmission, the inhalation of bioaerosol particles into the respiratory tract can have a pronounced impact on health, influencing rates of morbidity and mortality.
 
This Focus Meeting will bring together researchers from a broad range of disciplines to examine factors that influence bioaerosol-lung interactions.

Topics include:

• aerosol deposition
• microphysics
• biological effects
• infectivity/viability of bacteria and viruses.

​The presentation programme, from both invited speakers and submitted abstracts, will be complemented by a poster exhibition and product demonstrations form both Air Monitors and Enviro Technology Services. We will also be recognising outstanding contributions to the meeting from our junior researchers.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
