This PhD Summer School on Nucleic Acid Chemical Biology is organised by the Nucleic Acid Center (NAC), University of Southern Denmark as an intensive four days course including the NACB Symposium (June 24 – 25, 2009) with thirteen lectures presented by leading scientists on various subjects within nucleic acid chemical biology. The subjects of the Summer School include:
Antisense oligonucleotides
Antigene oligonucleotides
RNA aptamers
siRNA
Biomolecular NMR
Locked nucleic acids (LNA)
Nucleic acid nanotechnology
During the first two days of the Summer School a number of introductory/general lectures will be given by invited speakers and the NAC-staff on the topics listed above, bringing the participants up-to-date on these subjects prior to the start of the NACB Symposium. In addition, there will be group discussions, a session for short talks by the participating PhD-students, and a poster session.
