Compete to become the East Midlands "Top of the Bench" Champions!!
This fun-filled, practical chemistry competition is aimed at KS3/4 students. It consists of a paper-based elimination round during the Autumn term and a regional final in the labs at Derby University where you can expect a practical challenge a quiz and a chemistry-packed demonstration lecture (whilst the panel deliberates!). Winners are crowned and prizes are presented on the day.
The regional champions will be invited to represent us in the National Final later in the year.
Each team should be made up of the following:
· 2 students from year 9
· 1 student from year 10
· 1 student from year 11
Any student who has not been to the National Final before can compete.
