Since 2015 the International Symposium on Chemical Innovation and Regulation brings together professionals, researchers and students from all over the world to discuss state of the art issues on chemical safety, sustainability and the regulations created to assure them.
The previous ChIR Symposia took place in the University of Barcelona (July 2015) and the University of Bologna (July 2016). The University of Algarve has the honor of hosting the 3rd ChIR Symposium in July 2017.
The Symposium offers:
- A great opportunity for students, researchers and professionals involved in chemical safety to present and discuss concerns related compliance with international chemical regulations, to contact directly with the specific needs of industrial stakeholders, and to learn about recent research developments on the fields of chemical safety and sustainability.
- Keynote presentations by industry representatives from Portugal, Spain, Italy and the UK.
- Presentations of research theses by the Erasmus Mundus MSc in Chemical Innovation and Regulation.
- Poster presentation session on chemical safety and sustainability.
