25th HSKIKI - Croatian Meeting of Chemists and Chemical Engineers

Introduction
During the three days the conference, organizers have prepared an extremely comprehensive program. Six prominent plenary speakers:
  • Christer B. Aakerӧy - Kansas State University, Manhattan, USA
  • Margaret Brimble - The University of Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand
  • Jasper van der Gucht - Wageningen UR, Wageningen, The Netherlands
  • Lynn Kamerlin - Uppsala University, Uppsala, Sweden
  • Zdravka Knežević - Abdi Ibrahim Pharmaceuticals, Turkey
  • Joachim Ulrich - Matin-Luther University, Halle, Germany
We look forward to two workshops in the organization of which are actively involved representatives of the chemical industry (dedicated primarily to young researchers and students): “How to succeed in science?” and “I can do this – science and the market.”
During three days, the work of the Conference will be organized through three parallel sessions, each of which will have two invited lectures (lasting 30 minutes) and three presentations of 20 minutes.

All participants are required to register to participate at the 25HSKIKI through the online registration form (ORF). Social programme:
Opening ceremony & welcome reception party
Opening ceremony will be held on Wednesday, April 19th, in the main lecture hall of the Valamar Diamant Hotel, followed by a plenary lecture and welcome reception party.

Student mixer DJ party
Student mixer for young chemists will be held from 21:00 on Thursday, April 20th, in the restaurant of the Valamar Rubin hotel. The Mixer is open for students, postdoctoral fellows and other younger chemists up to an age limit of 35 years. Refreshments will be provided as well as DJ entertainment.

Conference dinner
Gala dinner will be held from 20:30 on Friday, April 21st, in the restaurant of the Valamar Diamant Hotel. Menu that combines modern and local cuisine and live performance will make this evening even more special.
