The RSC Liverpool local section would like to welcome all who are interested in finding out about the fascinating chemistry of hair. In ancient Rome, people used to dye their hair blonde with pigeon dung! Luckily science has since made many advancements to the hair dying experience. Bill Sanderson, who will deliver the lecture, has a wide range of experience in areas such as pharmaceuticals and consumer products. He has worked closely with industry, the government and academia, and has a strong background in oxidation chemistry, with over 35 years of experience as an R&D scientist, manager and consultant.
The event is being held at Roosters Bar, Old Liverpool Road, Warrington, WA5 1. The lecture will start at 7.30pm.
