The Discussion meeting was organised by the RSC Faraday Division.
The objective of the meeting was to bring together researchers from a wide range of scientific communities, facilitating discussion on the broad ranging nature, spectroscopy and application of microparticles.
Researchers attended from academic institutions, industry, the Environment Agency, and national laboratories, and with communities as diverse as the atmospheric chemistry and physics, dusty plasma, optical physics, physical chemistry, and analytical sciences. With this mix of physicists, chemists and engineers, discussions were lively and informed with approaching 500 questions and comments recorded.
To view the published volume resulting from the discussion please see the journal link on this page.
