About organizers
LCSB
Neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinson’s disease, metabolomics and disease network analysis are in the focus of research of Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB) (http://wwwen.uni.lu/lcsb). The LCSB fosters collaboration with industrial partners and will be a focal point for developing a knowledge-based economy in Luxembourg.
GEoPD
The Genetic Epidemiology of Parkinson’s Disease (GEoPD) (www.geopd.org) was founded in 2003 by the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. The GEoPD facilitates epidemiologic and genetic studies of Parkinson’s disease (PD). Consortium members comprise 60 sites from 30 countries and 6 continents. We are sharing data for Parkinson's disease cases for close to 41,988 PD cases and over 41,505 control subjects.
