RSC BMCS – H&SG Symposium: Synthesis in the Agrisciences

14 April 2016 10:00-17:30, London, United Kingdom

Introduction

Synopsis

The objective of the meeting is to promote scientific interactions between researchers in the field and to showcase the key role that synthesis plays in the development of new agrochemicals. New crop protection products are important tools for overcoming the huge challenges that modern agriculture faces – to increase food production and yield in a cost effective and sustainable manner with limited farmland and water supplies and loss of existing solutions through development of resistance or regulatory pressures.
Confirmed speakers include Prof Ian Baxendale (Durham Univ.), Prof. Greg Challis (Warwick Univ.), Prof. Joe Harrity (Sheffield Univ.) and leading experts from chemical research in industry.

Call for Posters

Posters are invited for display throughout the meeting and authors are encouraged to present their work in a short 2 min. flash presentation during the meeting. Please download the abstract template from the event website and submit your abstract by 19th February 2016.
