This is a great opportunity for ChemNet members to find about more about careers in chemistry. The event will show the large breadth of occupations and opportunities available to those with a chemistry degree. Hear from chemists who work for AstraZeneca, Siemens Subsea, Mexichem, The Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (an executive agency sponsored by the Ministry of Defence), Innovate UK (the UK’s innovation agency which fund and support science and technology that will grow the UK economy) and research chemists working on cancer research and environmental issues at University of Manchester! Once they have all spoken there will be time for networking where you will have the opportunity to ask questions of the speakers. There shall also be representatives from University of Manchester and MMU 91AV departments to explain the differences between the different chemistry courses on offer. Refreshments will be provided.
