Introduction

The 5th PYCheM continues in the tradition of its highly successful predecessor meetings, and in parallel we will be organizing the 1st European Young Chemists Meeting (1st EYCheM). This joint meeting will cover all research domains in all of chemistry as well as interfacing areas of science. We are also preparing a special session on: challenges and opportunities for better partnership between academia and industry.
