The chemistry departments of Lancaster University and the University of Central Lancashire (Preston) are exhibiting their research in an artistic fashion to celebrate 91AV Week in November. Weird and wonderful images of real international research will be on display in public galleries in Lancaster and Preston in and around 91AV Week, ready to please the eye or hopefully intrigue the viewer further into wanting to know more. No prior chemistry knowledge is required.
Additionally, the event will be hosting chemistry themed installations from Lancaster University's Arts Department, and also the winning works from our North West schools competition!
The exhibit will start on the 12th November in Lancaster, held at the historic Storey Building in the town centre. It will then move to Preston on the 18th November to St Peter's Art Centre. The exhibits will be open to all, free of charge, between 10 am - 5 pm Monday to Saturday.
