All members of the Section are encouraged to attend. This is not an onerous duty as the AGM business will be completed by 7.30pm approximately and is then followed by a 3 course dinner with wine. Tickets cost £15.
Friends and partners are most welcome although, unless they are members, they may not take part in the AGM itself. Most take the opportunity to sit and have a drink and a "blether" with others but anyone is welcome to sit in at the AGM.
A booking form can be downloaded (see below), or, alternatively, contact the Secretary direct by Friday 8 April 2016.
We are keen to encourage members to consider joining the Section Committee (there are currently 4 vacancies) and also to take part in the nomination and election of Office Bearers and Committee Members.
Nomination forms can also be downloaded and should be returned to the Secretary by Friday 25 March 2016.
The speaker is Mr Douglas Murray Master Distiller and Blender for Diageo PLC and his topic is:
"The Science behind traditional Scotch Whisky production"
