Introduction
Over two days our event will bring together 150 senior level attendees from academia, research institutes and forensic laboratories to discuss the current challenges and future opportunities in DNA profiling and human identification.

Day one features a stream dedicated to exploring the opportunities and challenges of NGS, including statistical analysis and interpretation of DNA profiles. On day two the focus turns to the most exciting research into DNA markers, including how to handle degraded DNA samples, strategies for familial search, and rare DNA variants.
