The annual northwest electrochemistry conference comes to Manchester Metropolitan University this year, hosted by the Banks research group. The late morning/early afternoon event will provide a laid back approach to conferencing in a comfortable setting for all contributors in the New Business School at MMU. The impressive development will host the entire event from start to finish, starting with a plenary lecture entitled "Electrochemical Studies of Nanoparticles" from Oxford University guest speaker Professor Richard Compton.
There will be a number of students talks throughout the day from our friends from Lancaster University, the University of Liverpool, and the University of Manchester, as well as poster presentations throughout lunch and refreshment periods. An early close will allow networking opportunities for all attendees, followed by a trip to the pub for those who wish to take discussions further.
The conference will run from 10 am until 3.30 pm on Tuesday 21st July - agendas will be provided via email.
There are still places available for posters and oral presentations, so feel free to contact Craig.
