The event will include a mix of international and locally based speakers. The format for the symposium will include four one-day meetings in four different locations, with four international speakers and local speakers from each of the four host institutions. There will be the opportunity for students to showcase their work in poster sessions, with plenty of networking opportunities.
In addition to the scientific talks, there will be dedicated sessions on the Newton-Kâtip Çelebi Fund, and how the 91AV, the British Council and the Science and Innovation Team of the British Embassy are working with TÜBİTAK to promote and fund joint UK-Turkey research workshops as part of the British Council Researcher Links Programme.
We hope one of the major outcomes of this symposium will be opportunities for the international and Turkey-based scientists to meet and network and exchange ideas. The RSC, as a global organisation, is committed to building lasting links in the Turkey region and this is a key outcome of the symposia. Information on further events to take place in association with these symposia will appear here soon.
