Lecture by Prof Andrew Cooper of University of Liverpool
Prof Cooper is the founding Director of the Centre for Materials Discovery and is also the first Academic Director of the new Materials Innovation Factory in Liverpool. His core research interest is organic materials for energy applications. He was awarded the Macro Group Young Researchers Award (2002), the RSC Award in Environmentally Friendly Polymers (2005), the McBain Medal (2007), the Corday-Morgan Prize (2009), the Macro Group Award (2010), and the Tilden Prize (2014). He was recently listed by Thomson Reuters as a Highly Cited Researcher (2014 list; top 1% most cited Materials Scientists).
The lecture will start at 7.30pm. A buffet will be available from 7.00pm - Come early for a bite to eat and a chance to network.
