There is an increasing interest in using the results of high resolution diffraction experiments to understand fundamental aspects of chemistry. This workshop will provide an intensive course in the modern methods in extracting chemical information from the electron density, including data collection, multipole refinement and extraction of topological and energetic properties. A substantial amount of time in the workshop will be allocated for hands-on computer sessions, to ensure that participants will gain some expertise in the use of the specialized softwares. The required softwares will be downloadable prior to the meeting, but participants will be expected to provide their own laptop computers.
Lectures will be provided by an International panel of experts in the field.
This workshop will take place on February 23-26, 2015 in the IISc campus in Bangalore, India.
Application to register should be made by following the book now link on this page.
The cost to attend this workshop is $100 for young scientists (35 and under) or $150 for senior scientists.
Applications are limited to 50. You will be informed by e-mail if you have been successful in your application and then sent the link to pay.
