Annual Aerosol Science Conference

Introduction
The Annual Aerosol Science Conference 2014 will take place on Thursday 27th November 2014 at The University of Birmingham.

Our 2014 annual conference considers 'Aerosols in Extreme Environments' and welcomes talks from the following highly respected professionals:

Prof Ruth Signorell: "Spectroscopy, a toolbox for structural information on nanoscale aerosol particles"
Assoc. Prof Jason Olfert: "Beyond particle mobility classifiers: Classifying particles by mass and relaxation time"
Prof John Plane: "Formation of refractory particles in stellar outflows and planetary atmospheres"

These invited talks will be supported by a number of submitted abstracts around the following subjects:

Understanding Complex Aerosols
Aerosol Processes and Properties
Aerosols in the Atmosphere

The conference appeals to both industry and academia and attracts numerous delegates wishing to attend talks from experts within Aerosol Science and to network with other like minded professionals.

The conference has a full one day programme, with TSI and Filter Integrity exhibiting their latest instruments during refreshment breaks and lunch.

Our Annual General Meeting will also take place at 13:15 on the same day and there are vacancies on the committee for all members to apply for.

Our conference ends with a drinks reception where we will award prizes to The Best Junior Research Contribution.
