Jay Schlesinger is the Director of T-Regs Consulting Ltd, a small consultancy business that provides technical support and expertise to bioanalytical facilities operating in or wishing to join a GxP environment.
Before starting the consultancy business, Jay worked as a GLP Study Director and Bioanalytical IT Systems Manager at ABS Laboratories, in the Toxicology Team at LGC Forensics and the Environmental and Biochemical Sciences Group at The James Hutton Institute. During his career, Jay worked with a diverse range of GC and LC-MS/MS instruments under various regulatory frameworks.
His experience covers the supervision and conduct of method validation, staff, study and IT management, computerised system validation, process mapping and improvement as well as bespoke training delivered within regulated laboratory environments.
Jay enjoys managing and validating computerised laboratory systems (CSV) in regulated environments and working closely with laboratory, IT and quality assurance (QA) staff to address quality findings. He also audits computerised systems, outputs, laboratory processes, static data and software reports for data integrity and regulatory compliance, which leads to harmonisation and automation.
He holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Forensic Sciences from Abertay University, an MSc degree in Analytical Toxicology from King’s College London and he also attended the Diploma in Forensic Medical Sciences course at Queen Mary University of London. Jay is a member of the 91AV and the Research Quality Association and is a certified PRINCE2 Practitioner.
