I have solid expertise combined with general knowledge in highly interdisciplinary topics at the borderline of chemistry, materials science, and medicine. I dealt with natural and synthetic biologically active ingredients, olefin polymerisation catalysts, and volatile functional coating precursors; developed innovative materials and technologies, and managed multidisciplinary projects.
I am adept in several different areas of chemistry, such as inorganic, organic, and polymer chemistry, chemistry of natural compounds, nanotechnology, noble metal recovery, and nanomaterials for biomedical applications. I master different analytical and characterisation techniques (spectroscopic, spectrometric, diffractometric, and chromatographic) for structural and functional characterisation of compounds and materials.
I am proficient (15+ years of experience) in organisation of multidisciplinary consortia, coordination of collaborative European projects, evaluation of R&I and capacity building proposals as well as monitoring of running EU projects under the FP7, Horizon 2020, and Horizon Europe. I am an expert for funding bodies in several EU member states and the ICGEB.
I have work experience in Finland, Ukraine, France, Italy, Switzerland, Brazil, and Japan. Therefore, I am adept in funding mechanisms and project implementation in the EU and several other countries.
I am based in Finland, I am fluent in 7 languages (Ukrainian, English, Finnish, French, Italian, Portuguese, and Russian) and have solid experience in working with different stakeholders from different countries. I am accomplished in capacity building and training activities; I trained/instructed students, specialists, and experienced professionals in different countries, in different languages.
I enjoy working in multilingual and multicultural environments. My extensive expertise enables me to quickly understand emerging challenges and propose original solutions.
