The Fluorine Group is one of the RSC's many Interest Groups. The Interest Groups are member driven groups which exist to benefit RSC members, and the wider chemical science community, in line with the RSC's strategy and charter.
It is recognised that fluorine chemistry pervades all aspects of chemical research and that there is a major industrial base in fluorine chemistry.
Aims
To promote fluorine chemistry of all types through the organisation of meetings and the dissemination of information.
Activities
The Group runs an annual postgraduate meeting and is the co-sponsor of meetings with other groups and organisations.
