Dr George C. Pallis
Dr George C. Pallis, PhD MSc DIC DipChemEng FRSC is the Co-founder and Research and Innovation Director of a chemical technology company established in the UK and Greece.
His work has had a primary focus around the protection-of-life, safeguarding the environment, and developing advanced analytical science capabilities. His research and development leadership has delivered enhanced capabilities in the situational awareness, and detection identification and monitoring requirements that are essential to effective emergency and security responses to a wide range of use cases and operational scenarios. Of particular note has, and is, Dr Pallis’ unwavering emphasis on validation and reliability of innovative technology. His fundamental research has been impactful, resulting in vital products that encompass systems-of-systems concepts delivering next-generation chemical measurement. His business is based on chemical science & technology, entrepreneurship and societal good.
Dr Pallis’ team has been recently honoured with the 2023 Security Innovation Award granted by the European Commission for their airborne chemical detection system.
