Committee Membership We are again actively seeking members to join our committee, indeed due to members resigning or coming to the end of their terms of office, new members are critical to the future operation of the local section. Do you feel motivated to help out and help organise local events for our professional society? New members bring new ideas and receive intangible benefits. We want to ensure that we are providing a programme of activities that our local membership want and find useful. We are a happy committee, only meet a few times per year and a full committee enables us to share out the tasks so that individual volunteers are not overloaded. If you can spare a few evenings, and would like more information, then please contact Brian Grievson (section chair), Anne Hurworth (secretary) or any committee member. Nominations can be made in advance or at the AGM. Directions to the Norcroft Conference Centre The Norcroft Conference Centre is on the main Bradford University campus, situated below the Richmond Building and positioned between the Institute of Cancer Therapeutics and the Institute of Pharmaceutical Innovation on Tumbling Hill Street. Full information for travelling to the University can be found through the following link: HYPERLINK "http://www.brad.ac.uk/about/find/get.php" http://www.brad.ac.uk/about/find/get.php and the best map is: HYPERLINK "http://www.brad.ac.uk/about/find/maps.php" http://www.brad.ac.uk/about/find/maps.php . Cross the road and walk left towards the glass front of the Alhambra Theatre, turning immediately right, before reaching the Theatre, up Great Horton Road. The University is about 300 metres up this hill, beyond the College. Or the cost of a taxi should be approximately 4-5 pounds. If travelling by car Bradford is accessible via the M62 and M606.
