The conference was first held in 2006 as Tokyo Workshop on Solar Light Energy Conversion by
focusing its topic on dye-sensitized solar cells and organic solar cells, and has subsequently been held
on an annual basis for the past 6 years and has ever since expanded its activity to encompass
numerous eminent speakers from abroad. More than 300 papers are expected to be presented in
oral and poster sessions covering frontline research of Dye?sensitized and Organic Solar Cells. In this
coming DSC?OPV7, four world class scientists Prof. Michael Grätzel, Prof. James Durrant, Prof. Juan
Bisquert and Prof. Joseph T. Hupp have agreed to give speech in the plenary section. Also, more than
32 experts in the area of solar cells worldwide have accepted the invitation (see list below).
Nonetheless, we trust the success of this conference relying on your active participation.
